Hello everyone! In this week’s blog post, I’ll be going over some tips to help you stay calm during finals week. Read on to learn more!

Just last week, I wrote a post regarding a couple of tips to help you study and prepare for finals. With studying comes stress, so I’m here to help you get through that stress as well! It’s totally inevitable, since having to revise a years’ worth of content can lead to a tremendous amount of work. I’ll be providing you guys with a couple of tips to help ease your tension during finals.

Take breaks – Studying for long hours with no break can be incredibly exhausting, both physically and mentally. It’s important to actively study, and important step in that is studying in proper intervals. Listen to yourself – if you want a break, take it! It’s better to study with a fresh mind.

Study/plan ahead – For finals, you typically have to revise a whole years’ worth of content in a matter of weeks. It’s important to plan ahead of time, and start revising a couple of weeks prior, so you won’t have to cram at the last minute. Of course, it’s always difficult to get started, but you’ll see much better results if you prepare ahead of time.

Go outside – During one of your breaks, you should make the time to go outside and enjoy the fresh air. A little bit of fresh air can be extremely refreshing, and can relieve a slight headache that might occur as a result of studying.

Meditate/do yoga – I’ve heard so many people talk about meditation apps, and how they’re incredibly helpful to relieve stress. You can do 5-10 minute intervals of meditation, or even 10 minutes of some yoga to relieve tension.

Eat healthy – A healthy diet can lead to a peaceful mind. At least during the week of finals, you should try to eat healthy and balanced meals.

I hope you all found this post useful! Feel free to contact me with any questions!

Until next time, bye!
